House of Felt is unique to The Hub Hornby, Loretta Sloan textile artist is our working artist in residence. Loretta welcomes everyone!

House of Felt – pop up studio / felt store is a destination to visit. You will love this cute colourful studio, you can get all your felting & wool supplies. Hands-on workshops are on site.

With over 30years of experience, Loretta works mainly with NZ wool & other fibres, An avid feltmaker, inspiring others through her popular traditional felting. & needle felting workshops, alongside weaving, spinning, knitting, creating gorgeous chunky yarn, & loads more.

Loretta is also a (WOW) World of Wearable Art designer, you will be amazed at her fabulous work on display.
