Hornby History Online

Some years ago The Hub published a book covering the history of the Centre and Hornby area. Whilst the hard copy editions have sold out, we are very pleased to be able to make this available free online. Our friends at the Christchurch Library have this book uploaded in the link below. There will also be more of our historic photos and documents available online in the future so stay tuned for updates.

This project was completed through a University of Canterbury Arts Internship. All photographs and information were collected from people who have been involved with the mall for many years or came from the Hub Hornby’s historical archive.
